Ingredients:

- 500 gms Palak- washed and chopped
- 1/2 cup -Moong Dal
- 250 gms Paneer (cut into cubes)
- 1 – Onion
- 4/5 cloves – Garlic
- 1 -Tomato
- 1/2 cup-Milk
- Salt – to taste
- 1 Teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 Teaspoon Chili powder
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 Teaspoon Kasuri methi
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
Method:
- In a pressure cooker add the washed palak and dal along with the garlic cloves and salt adding just about 1 cup water and give 2 to 3 whistles.
- When the pressure cooker opens and the spinach has cooled down then steam blend the whole mixture with a hand blender or in a mixie.
- Now make a paste of onions and tomatoes separately and keep aside.
- In a pan add oil. Once hot add the onions and cook.
- Add all the dry spices like chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and coriander powder.
- When oil separates from it add the tomatoes paste. When the tomatoes get cooked then add paneer pieces and mix well in it.
- Now add 1 tsp of Kasturi Methi along with the palak mixture into the pan.
- Mix everything nicely and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Do not to overcook otherwise the colour of the palak will not be nice and green. At last, add the milk and stir well to give it the rich look and taste. Enjoy with paranthas or rotis.
