Almonds are a superfood! Munch on them whenever you like! It’s also good to have some almond milk in the fridge for kids shakes and smoothies.
Making almond milk is very straight forward!
Soak the almonds overnight in a bowl of water. The almond milk will be creamier if the almonds are soaked for a long time.
Discard the soaking water. Peel all the almonds and discard the peels.
Blend the almonds with 2 cups of water. Yow will get a fine meal.
Blend it for 2-3 minutes. Now, you can strain the almond milk by squeezing the almond meal, using a cotton or cheese cloth.
You can store the almond milk in an airtight container in the freezer. The leftover almond meal can be used in other dishes as well.
