HarperCollins’ I Can Read books that your child can read with your help

Children become readers in the laps of their parents.

Truer words were never spoken. If we want our children to become voracious readers, then we must first read to them, and then with them. Never underestimate the power of a good book – a good story on your children. But to start off children need stories that are short, simple and easy to remember. Harper Collins’ I Can Read Books is a great way to introduce your child to reading.

The Biscuit series about an adventurous cat by Alyssa Satin Capucilli is quite popular among parents for kids who are just learning their words.

  • Biscuit Loves the Library,
  • Biscuit Wins a Prize,
  • Biscuit Takes a Walk

Besides the Biscuit series, the Otter series, Duck Duck Dinosaur, and Scat Cat are sure to delight your emergent readers. Once you’ve cultivated the habit of reading in your kiddo, time to get him/her to begin reading on their own.
